In addition to a Botanical Garden, Primorye also boasts an arboretum located at the Academician V. L. Komarov Alpine Taiga Station, Far East Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences. Created in 1935 on an area of 50 hectares, it is situated ten kilometers west of Ussuriisk National Preserve and consists of twenty expositional sites located in a natural forest connected by alleys.
